Reasonable Risk Acknowledgement Terms
By using Holiday Nannies (holidaynannies.com, or any of its affiliated brands such as BoracayNannies.com, BaliNannies.com, PhuketNannies.com,) and engaging a nanny through the platform, the Parent/Guardian acknowledges and agrees that childcare services inherently involve normal and foreseeable risks.
The Parent/Guardian understands and accepts that minor incidents or injuries may occur during the course of childcare activities, including but not limited to:
- slips, trips, or falls;
- bumps, scratches, or bruises;
- playground or recreational activity incidents;
- minor illness exposure;
- accidental damage to personal items; or
- other ordinary incidents reasonably associated with the care and supervision of children.
The Parent/Guardian acknowledges that Holiday Nannies operates solely as a marketplace and introductory platform connecting families with independent childcare providers, and does not directly provide childcare services, supervise day-to-day care, or control the conduct of individual nannies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holiday Nannies shall not be liable for any minor injury, loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from ordinary childcare-related risks or incidents, except where directly caused by the gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or unlawful conduct of Holiday Nannies itself.
The Parent/Guardian remains responsible for assessing the suitability of any nanny engaged through the platform and for communicating any relevant medical, behavioural, allergy, supervision, or safety requirements relating to their child.
